Riide Holdings Inc. has an opportunity in their riide division, for a seasoned leader to assume the role of Taxi Supervisor to join the Fleet Department.  This new role will report to the Fleet Manager and will supervise and coordinate the activities of riide operators and drivers.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

the responsibilities

The Taxi Supervisor will be responsible to:

• Ensure a high level of customer service in the supervision and coordination of operators/drivers engaged in the operation of riide taxis
• Lead and manage the internal company car taxi program, including hiring, training, employee relations, and scheduling
• Assist in investigating accidents, vandalism, and other malicious claims following both company and union policy
• Assist the General Manager and/or Fleet Manager with administrative tasks as required

the requirements

Successful Candidates will possess:

• Valid Class 4 Licence for at least two years and clean driver abstract
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions that align with exemplary customer safety and satisfaction
• Proven ability to manage own time and the time of others
• Strong communication skills with the ability and desire to listen to gain an understanding of situations, ideas, and concerns of others regardless of English proficiency
• Knowledge of the Traffic Safety Act, Driving and Road Safety, Automobile Insurance Act and Vehicle for Hire Bylaw considered an asset
• Experience managing in a union environment considered an asset
